insiyahs last day....

Saturday morning I left for Nienberg/Steyerburg to visit Insiyah, my friend from India. Our friend Steve(USA) was also there. When we first got there we walked around the "city" a little bit and took some random photos, in honor of the recent "Germany's Next Top Model" finale. =) It was fun.

Saturday night Insiyahs host family had a little going away party for her/birthday party for her host sister. We stayed for a little while but weren't really enjoying ourselves so we went and hung out at one of her friends house.

The people were really nice and funny. I think they will sincerely miss Insi and it was kind of a sad goodbye. We left at about 1 and walked back to Insi's house. There was a terrible storm and we sat at the windowsil and talked the whole night until 4 in the morning when we had to leave with her host parents to go to the airport. We arrived at the airport at Hannover and got Insi's bags checked and waited awhile. We drank some hot chocolate and talked a little and then we had to say our final goodbyes and Steve and I had to leave to catch our train back to Wolfsburg. I was sad to leave Insi. I'm really happy that I got to meet her, she completely opened my eyes to India. I realize that I really didn't know anything about India until I met her. We really became close over this year and I will miss her.
